OUR STORY & PHILOSOPHY
The Japanese word "せいか" or "seika", which literally means "blue flower", is referring to the traditional "blue and white porcelain" ("青花瓷" in Chinese) originated from the Tang Dynasty of China. We have a great admiration to this refined and elegant antique and we would like to translate this aesthetic concept in our own works.
Seika Studio is trying to create works in various forms and mediums: fabrics, papers, plastics, concrete, or anything that comes into our mind.
